I has a kindle!
Not so long ago, I bought a kindle. It came to my hands twelve days ago and I can’t put it down for the life of me.

Autumn finally!
This summer was long.
Mind you, it wasn’t bad and I’m in no way complaining, but the damn thing was so long that I was erasing days from the calendar, one by one, until the arrival of September. Fortunately, the weather changed alongside the month. September brought my vacation, my marriage, and beautiful moments with my family and close friends that made all this dragging worthwhile.

A couple of weeks ago, a very good friend of mine gave me as a gift for my birthday The Singer’s Gun by Emily St. John Mandel. Fantasy is not her preferred genre and, still, she searched for a good fantasy book for me, for which I’m extremely grateful.

Didn’t read tag
I’ve always felt obligated to finish all the books I started. I don’t know why. Was it just a matter of principle or just because I didn’t like putting down half-finished books, I used to power through and finish any book I started no matter what.
The books that I have abandoned aren’t many and they had always made me feel like a quitter, as if it was exclusively my problem that I didn’t like them. Until this year that I said fuck it and I started dropping the books that didn’t engage me like flies.
